Absolutely! Parents and caregivers are key to success. We’ll share tips, activities, and strategies you can use at home, so your child keeps practicing between sessions. This teamwork helps your child progress faster.

No, you don’t need a referral. Parents can book directly. If you want to use Medicare rebates or certain funding options, your GP may provide a referral plan.

In Australia, a registered Speech Pathologist (SP) can help clients access and manage different types of funding for therapy including NDIS, Medicare, Private Health Insurance and privately paying depending on the client’s needs, age, diagnosis and eligibility. SPs don’t provide the funding but their professional role is crucial in helping clients obtain it.
Most sessions run for 60 minutes with 40- 45 minutes of direct therapy and 15 minutes of discussion with the parents. We use fun, play-based activities to help your child practice new skills. We’ll also give you ideas and activities to continue at home.
